RUSHBROOK Consultants will carry out its activities to provide, so far as reasonably practicable, safe and healthy working conditions and appropriate welfare arrangements, for all its staff and will take all reasonable measures, to avoid placing anyone at risk who may be affected by its activities.
We recognise and will meet our responsibility to comply with all relevant requirements of UK health, safety and welfare legislation, in particular:
•  We will consult with our employees and staff on matters affecting their health, safety and welfare, including communicating this policy, and any revisions
•  We will provide and maintain, for use by our employees and staff, plant and equipment that are safe and without unacceptable risks to health
•  We will provide working environments where risk to health is minimized
•  We will maintain any place of work under our direct control in a condition which has adequate means of escape in the event of fire or other emergency
•  We will take appropriate measures to see that any other workplace, where the Company exercises control to any extent, is maintained in a safe condition, without risks to health
•  We will provide staff, sub-consultants, and any contractors working for the Company with appropriate information, instruction, safety training and supervision
•  We will carry out our activities with due regard to health and safety of persons who may be affected
•  We will provide personal protection equipment as appropriate; additional equipment required to perform their work safely may be purchased through the staff expense system
•  We will make appropriate arrangements for the safe use, handling, storage and transport of equipment, materials and substances, where such activities are carried out by staff
•  We will provide appropriate welfare and first aid arrangements
All members of Rushbrook, Directors, Managers, Staff, Employees and Sub-consultants must comply with our Health and Safety Policy. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
The effectiveness of this policy will be measured and audited as part of Rushbrook quality management system and we will review our Health & Safety Policy annually, considering the need for any amendments in the light of changing circumstances.
In striving for continuous improvement in health and safety performance the Board of Directors will monitor the Company's performance in relation to this policy and where necessary changes will be made.
This policy statement will be made available to our stakeholders and other interested parties through our website, and is available at each of our company offices.
